learning auto to get manual photographyIf you are only learning photography and feel that learning on your DSLR camera manual use and frightening, here is a little tip I think to learn my camera, you can run the automatic settings. With automated tools, I mean the one where the settings are set for specific situations, and you know, to have to do something different. These include Portrait, Macro, Sports, Landscape, etc.

Take the sports mode. On a Canon 500D, sports mode, while I was in was stopped at the time: f/3.5, 1/320th sec, ISO auto.
