Stock Photography of People: Model Releases

If you start sending your images to Stock photo, you will quickly learn that some people are with people in their best-sellers. And you want to be invited to make pictures with people as often as possible when you receive the income expand your photography portfolio.

There are some important things to know about stock photography with people in the pictures though, so we’ll cover those briefly here.

First and foremost: If you have one or more people in a photograph and you’d like to sell that photo through stock photography agencies, you must have a model release for each and every person recognizable in the picture.

How many Photos do you need to take?

Most stock agencies will not accept more than 2 or 3 shots of the same theme. For example, if you have a small table on the theme of fruit, a few pictures, but only 2 or 3 of the best submission. Make sure that each photo is different and not just a slight variant of the latter.

It is much more practical to take the time to place fewer, high quality photos when hundreds of poor quality. They will be refused and your work will be to no avail!

It can be a lengthy process, but a solid, quality filled workflow your images safe for years.

It also helps to get a name for himself as all your data are of high quality pictures. Note that it may take years to get a good portfolio of stock photos to build, and you can never have enough money to live, but you would be a nice piece on the page each month to make for good!
